Nibiatracy Kharkamni hails from Shillong, Meghalaya. She has completed her Bachelor of Social Work from NEHU University and a Master of Social Work with a specialisation in Public Health from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
She has been working in the development sector for the past 7+ years across education, health, and women’s rights.

UCL Research project
Support the Human Development Leadership Programme (HDLP) for Research Development in collaboration with UCL. UCL is collaborating with the Government of Meghalaya (GoM) on studying the Human Development Leadership Programme (HDLP) being implemented by GoM. This partnership serves the purpose of evaluating the impact of a new government programme aimed at improving state worker-citizen relationships and strengthening community institutions, while also providing a rich site for observing the existence, generation, and mechanism of relational state capacity. The intervention is designed as a state-wide initiative with phased implementation and reached at the village level.
