Anjali Jha currently leads intervention design for an agency-focused maternal health project, developing evidence-based strategies to improve maternal nutrition, health-seeking behaviour, and women’s financial agency through a Randomised Controlled Trial (RCT).
Prior to this, she led the design and financial costing of flagship manifesto schemes for Maharashtra and Bihar, translating policy priorities into implementable, fiscally sustainable welfare programmes. This included designing large-scale schemes across women’s empowerment, agriculture, youth employment, social protection, healthcare, and public service delivery, supported by beneficiary estimation, budget modelling, and implementation frameworks. Her work directly informed political leadership on policy alternatives and governance reforms.
