Anjan Vij has spent the last 15+ years working across the corporate, social impact, and creative sectors, with communications, storytelling, and building organisations that matter serving as the common thread throughout his career.
He started his career in financial services as a Management Trainee at ICICI Prudential AMC before moving into sales and trade marketing roles at Bacardi and L’Oréal, where he led BTL, trade, and outdoor campaigns for major consumer brands across North India.
In 2017, he made a deliberate pivot toward the development sector, joining Indus Action, a policy implementation non-profit, as Senior Manager for Fundraising and Communications.
That experience convinced him that the most important work he could do was at the intersection of citizen welfare, systems change, and organisational narrative.
Since 2021, he has run an independent practice, working across a diverse portfolio that includes a sustainable fashion brand, a UK-based charity, a diabetes management startup, and several Indian non-profits focused on education, healthcare, and democratic reform.
He returned in a full-time capacity and currently leads the Brand & Communications function.
Across all of it, his work has centred on fundraising strategy, brand building, stakeholder communications, and campaign development, with a consistent focus on building narratives that connect evidence to action, and organisations to the people they are trying to reach.
