K Naeema is a development professional with 4+ years of experience in education and a growing specialization in public policy implementation and social welfare systems. As a first-generation postgraduate and former secondary school teacher, she has developed strong communication, classroom management, and problem-solving skills while working closely with diverse communities.
Prior to joining Indus Action, she worked as a secondary school teacher, where she managed inclusive classrooms, mentored students, and integrated technology into teaching practices. Beyond her professional roles, she has demonstrated leadership through the National Service Scheme (NSS) by leading community development initiatives, health awareness campaigns, and environmental conservation activities. As a teaching volunteer with the Robin Hood Army, she supported educational access for children from underserved communities.

Understanding and strengthening the implementation of scholarship and non-scholarship schemes, with a particular emphasis on process documentation, stakeholder mapping, beneficiary journeys, chatbot testing, and scheme analysis. I am currently leading the documentation and process-mapping of the Inter-Caste Marriage (ICM) Incentive Scheme, contributing towards the long-term vision of building a unified entitlement platform for government welfare schemes.
