Sanjana Kumar is a decision science and strategy professional with experience spanning management consulting, government partnerships, and nonprofit exposure. Currently, she works in the CEO’s Office , where she is part of cross-functional strategic initiatives.
She began her professional journey at McKinsey & Company in the Decision Sciences practice, applying advanced analytics, optimisation techniques, and data science to solve complex business problems across sectors. Her work involved working with global clients, leveraging large-scale datasets to inform strategic decision-making, spanning supply chain optimisation, operations, pricing, and other data-driven transformation initiatives.
She also worked briefly as a Specialist in Impact Analytics at SaveLIFE Foundation, where she contributed to the organisation’s strategic vision and impact measurement efforts. She helped shape flagship initiatives such as the Zero Fatality Corridors and Zero Fatality Districts programmes, developed performance dashboards, and supported data-driven decision-making to strengthen road safety interventions and policy implementation.
At Indus Action, she has led the development of long-term organisational strategy and driven initiatives to strengthen organisational systems and governance. She works closely with senior leadership to translate vision into execution.
